It’s been a hard week. I decided a week ago I would write about this. Then… it hit. Satan attacked viciously. I have spent the last week reliving past hurts, remorse over situations I should have handled differently, and regret over old sin. The crazy thing is this topic didn’t even start because of something I was going through. My best assumption is that this message is for someone and satan doesn’t want it out. So, here goes.

In Jesus’s day, the Pharisees were considered the holiest men on earth. These guys did not do anything on the sabbath for fear of disobeying one of the Ten Commandments. These guys tithed out of their spice rack. In order to not look at a woman lustfully, they would literally walk around looking at the ground, banging their head into things. These guys were committed. They learned Hebrew and memorized huge chunks of Old Testament law. They could probably tell you what most, if not all, of the 613 laws in the Old Testament said.

I watched a video today that may have changed my life. The video was about a man who left the comfort of the United States and all it has to offer; water, fast food, tv, money, etc. for Africa to save children. He is saving children from slavery, sex trafficking, mutilation, starvation, loneliness, and ultimately death. Every part of this video hit me hard, but as I was shoveling leftover chili into my mouth at lunch I remembered something specific. The man said these children have most likely never eaten to satisfaction.
